  1. Thank you! But I was looking for a bottom line on this and it sounds like the answer this video provides is that “we don’t know but we have more knowledge about cats eating corn, rice, etc.” (well then what does that knowledge say? This is 5 mins of my life and the video was going so well but can anyone ask her what the answer is to this question: what should indoor cats eat?

  2. Cats are obligate carnivores. No fruits, vegetables, or grains. The wet cat food that has the highest meat content is the best food for them.

  3. The problem with your advice on going to the vet for advice on a therapeutic diet is that they’re mostly, if not all, Big Ag and Big Pharma shills. They don’t bother with science. They drink the industry Kool-Aid and shove high oxalate, grain-laden diets on obligate carnivores, while telling us that CATS SHOULDN’T BE EATING MEAT. I’m literally speaking from recent experience.

If anyone here ever reads my comment and wants real advice on how to feed a cat, talk to a cat handler at a zoo or big cat sanctuary. They actually know what cats are, and what their natural diets should be. I researched that, and adapted it to the caloric needs of my 10 lb. indoor boys. ❤

  4. Can anyone lend some advice? My cats ears never had issues but the last year he’s been getting really bad yeast buildup, we switched him to a all urinary tract food after he had a bad UTI but idk what food will help his gut health. I can’t afford the 700$ vet visit for another ear cleaning plus allergy testing. Please anyone 😔 my cats my best friend and just falling on hard times to pay for a vet visit
