  1. I tried implementing small amounts of the instinct raw bits in with my two kittens to try to work them over to a raw-ish diet (I feed wet food twice a day and a little dry throughout day as a filler)

I broke the raw bits up to make them smaller and tried feeding some pieces solo just to see if they liked them (not full serving, just trying it out.) One of the kittens would eat it willy nilly like regular food but would vomit within minutes of eating it.

I also tried making small bits and mixing it with a little hard food but she puked. She could eat the dry or wet food without puking, but if she had any of the freeze dried bits she vomited multiple times until all her stomach contents were gone. I wondered if the batch was bad but the other cat didn’t have issues eating it, but he wasn’t super interested in it, more indifferent than anything. I stopped giving it to the cats cuz the pukey one wanted to eat it and the non pukey one was ok with giving it up to the pukey one, and I’m not a fan of cleaning up cat vomit. She hadn’t vomited before it and she hasn’t vomited since.

Thankfully it wasn’t a total waste of money, cuz my dog thinks they’re an excellent treat after any sort of medicine administration and his stomach seems to be perfectly ok with a few at a time.

It’s too bad freeze dried bits are so expensive, I’d like to incorporate it, but don’t want to spend the money trying different brands if my cats gonna puke it up.
