  1. Mass produced foods are never high quality. Never. Even people who eat fresh foods, not out of a bag or can are healthier.

  2. i found that LIT foods often have lentils and peas. i chose a different route. i got some ultra nutro small breed weight management food. it is reasonably priced, has three types of protein, and has wholesome food like oats in it. no peas, no lentils, and no corn or wheat. i used to cook for my other chi. he lived 23 years. when they found a lot of contaminates in dog foods and other dogs in our area were dying of kidney failure, the vet told me i probably saved his life by cooking for him

  3. My dog was tested for allergies, and she cam back allergic to just about every meat. My Vet recommended Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets HA Hydrolyzed Vegetarian Dry Dog Food. After looking at the ingredient list I think this food looks horrible. I was looking at maybe a food with fish in it as that seems like the only meat based protein she isn’t allergic to. But how do I know what to get. I was looking at Carna4 and Zignature. I never feel like I can be confident in what I feed.
